India’s most definitive design week returns to Mumbai for its second edition this September. Across three days, experience curated showcases, ID Symposium sessions led by global industry experts, and Mumbai’s vibrant food culture, a true celebration of design in all its forms. This year, the fair unfolds under the theme The Age of Design Syncretism, celebrating the confluence of design, culture and craft. Here’s a look at the schedule for the fair, set for September 26–28, 2025, at Jio World Garden, BKC, Mumbai.

India Design Mumbai 2025 brought together leading voices from the architecture, interiors and design community, creating a platform for brands to present new collections and spatial ideas. Abner used the occasion to explore light through a more immersive and experiential format.
Designed by Karan Desai, the Abner installation took the form of a black box, creating a controlled environment where light could become the primary element of the experience. With the surrounding space stripped back, the Stone and Concrete Series were presented against a dark, minimal setting, allowing their forms, materials and illumination to take focus. The black box also heightened the contrast between light and shadow, encouraging visitors to experience the fixtures not simply as objects, but through the atmosphere they create. The result was a curated exploration of how material, form and light come together within a space.
